BIW
The term body-in-white (BIW) stands for the vehicle carcase and includes the welded sheet metal components. They form the structure of a vehicle, with which other components (for example, the engine, chassis, inner and outer furnishing) are combined. The sub-assemblies are oriented to this basic form of the vehicle. The sizing concept is provided by the cross-section of the support structure and specific vehicle data such as the wheelbase, location of the engine and the suspension/steering components as well as the ergonomic sizes.
We, at GOTECH, develop the sub-assemblies for the body shell under these conditions and using these design stipulations.
