Quality management
It goes without saying that a successful company has the highest quality of products. This can only be achieved when processes are continually monitored and optimised. Our Quality Managers analyse complete production processes on site, they identify weak points and prepare solutions designed to combat these. They build on tried and tested processes and instruments when doing so. These instruments include:
FMEA
FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is an analytical method designed to find potential weak points in the production process. The method then works around them thus increasing the reliability of the product. We use FMEA in the early design and development stage of components and tools and discover errors before they have to be removed in a costly and time-intensive manner. With the aid of the software APIS, we conduct Process-FMEA and Construction-FMEA during the entire development phase, if required.
Tolerance Simulation
Even as early as on the production development stage, we can provide information on the effect of possible tolerances during the manufacturing and installation process of single components to the complete vehicle. This is done with the aid of with CAD-supported tolerance simulations.
Mobile Measurement Technology
Despite all precautionary measures during development, there can still be unwanted deviations in the production of single parts. In order to identify the causes of this, we scan the problematic parts with the aid of a mobile 3D-laser scanner and compare this highly accurate scanned data with the target specifications. We analyse the results and provide suggestions for possible solutions.
Jig and Fixture Design
Measurements require a pre-determined frame of reference. We construct precise instruments for the simple checking of components from series tools. Here we ensure that the components are of the correct physical measurements and shapes requirements.
